We have the perfect trip for you
Discover Los Cabos
Discover Los Cabos, located in the southernmost part of Mexico's Baja California. Los Cabos is one of the five municipalities forming the southern tip of this privileged land, known for its tourism industry and the excellent natural resources that visitors can enjoy during their stay.
The municipal capital is San José del Cabo, while the most prominent (and touristy) city is Cabo San Lucas. These two locations are only 32 kilometres apart, connected by a bustling tourist corridor offering all kinds of attractive services and activities for visitors.
The state of Baja California borders the United States by land, with its unique advantage being that, apart from this land border, it is surrounded by water: to the east by the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California) and to the west by the Pacific Ocean.
In Los Cabos, you'll find countless sporting activities, excellent beaches, unforgettable encounters with tradition and beauty, a unique gastronomy, and of course, the benefits of a semi-arid desert climate, with heat in the summer and milder weather in the winter. Today, the rainy season is concentrated in August and September.
Los Cabos offers such unique and exceptional experiences that it has become one of the favourite destinations for the ‘Jet Set’ worldwide, either for a second home or a holiday spot.
What to see in Los Cabos?

The sea, the desert, and the long-standing Mexican culture come together in perfect harmony in Los Cabos, allowing tourists to enjoy their trip from start to finish. Everyone who has visited Los Cabos agrees that it is an incredibly gratifying experience, whether you visit solo, as a couple, with family, or with friends. It has everything, and everything is provided at a high professional level as a tourist destination. You can immerse yourself in the history of San José del Cabo through its ancient streets, filled with scents and colours. Just as easily, hours of endless fun can be spent at the lively dances held in the vibrant city of Cabo San Lucas. On land, you can witness the majestic arrival of whales, who migrate from Alaska to mate in the warm Pacific waters, from a yacht or boat. And there's even more to see: el Arco, a rock formation shaped by the sea, is the true icon of Los Cabos.
The best beaches in Los Cabos

Los Cabos boasts some of the best beaches in all of Mexico. Any of these beaches could be the scene of paradise, and all of them offer enticing services. These are beaches that seem to have been created just for us.
Playa del Amor is one of the most sought-after by visitors, and its beauty lives up to its name. Its sand accumulates between two large granite rock formations. Once there, you can enjoy water sports like snorkelling or scuba diving or admire the Neptune’s Finger formation. On this and nearly all the beaches in the area, it's worth noting that by the afternoon, the sand has been baking in the sun for many hours, so you'll need shoes to walk on it.
Looking for peace and quiet? Come and swim in Playa Chileno. With blue waters, palapas for shade, snorkelling, and easy access by car or from the marina of Cabo San Lucas, this beach offers it all. From here, you can take a short one-kilometre walk to another stunning beach: Playa Santa María. It's common for Mexican beaches to have palapas, cone-shaped structures made of dry palm leaves and wooden palm trunks, a structure originally from the Philippines that the Mexicans imported and adopted for their tourism industry.
What is the main meeting point in Los Cabos? It's none other than Playa El Médano, at the heart of Cabo San Lucas, where all day long you can enjoy a spectacular range of lights following the movement of the sun. There's always something to do at Playa El Médano: snorkelling, jet skiing, or beach volleyball. It's a beach full of energy, yet you can also relax and watch the endless stream of vendors offering everything from fruit to silver jewellery, blankets, and all sorts of crafts.
What to eat in Los Cabos?

We are in Mexico. That means you'll spend your days enjoying a great variety of gastronomic delights, with traditional products and recipes alongside numerous offerings from the two seas that surround this beautiful land.
A novelty for your palate is that in Los Cabos, you can eat mantarraya (manta ray), as Mexico is one of the few countries that utilise and commercialise its meat, which is similar to that of rays commonly found in Mediterranean markets. The difference between the two lies in size, as mantas have a wingspan of several metres. Additionally, Los Cabos offers fish tacos, shrimp or octopus tacos, smoked marlin tostadas, stuffed crab, or abalone chilorio. Fajados (fajitas) with chicken are popular, as well as one of the most characteristic dishes: comida de pobres (poor man’s food), which is a seafood soup served with Mexican-style rice and beans. And of course, everything comes with the ever-present company of flour tortillas.
Los Cabos also has its own unique drinks. The most exclusive is licor de Damiana, made from a wild plant of the same name, which was prepared by the indigenous Guaycura in their ceremonies. Don’t miss trying a clamato, which is a mix of tomato juice and seasoned clam juice.
Check with your hotel for the extensive calendar of gastronomic events held practically all year round, including the Festival de Sabores de Baja.
Adventure and Sport

Choose a provider to rent a boat or sign up for any of the many charters that will allow you to sail, for example, the waters of the Sea of Cortez and experience unique activities like whale watching, swimming with dolphins, or scuba diving.
Los Cabos also has beaches where you can surf, but if there’s a world-class activity here, it’s sport fishing. Want to fulfil this dream? You can. Blue marlin, striped marlin, roosterfish, or swordfish are abundant species and the target of sport fishing enthusiasts who regularly visit Los Cabos.
You're in a desert area, so visiting one of its canyons is always an excellent and unforgettable idea. You can go zip-lining, rock climbing, and abseiling. A horseback or camel ride and mountain biking can help you round off a perfect day in Los Cabos.
Leisure and Culture

The selfies you'll show on your social networks and the best photos can be taken at the emblem of Los Cabos. This is El Arco, the undisputed icon of Cabo San Lucas. It’s a rocky summit that rises from the sea and is inhabited, though not by people. When you arrive at El Arco on any type of boat, you can photograph the spectacular colony of sea lions sunning themselves on the rocks.
San José del Cabo is where you’ll find the culture and traditional flavour of this part of Mexico. The most enjoyable experience here is a good walk along Calle Ancha (or Calle Grande). It’s a lovely journey into history, accompanied by a tequila or a wine served at many establishments on this street.
Cabo San Lucas, on the other hand, is where you'll find the leisure, the best shops, the most famous restaurants, and the most enticing entertainment. It's all about leisure. The nightlife belongs to Cabo San Lucas.
For Italian cuisine, be sure to visit Il Forno; for an American-style dinner, try Jack’s Steak House; La Poblanita will bring you the traditional dishes of the region – chillies, fajitas, and various spicy foods. If you’re looking for great views of the marina, comfort, and international cuisine, Lighthouse Cabo Restaurant is your spot. Los Kurricanes, located at the fish market, is a tasty option for sampling the area’s diverse fish offerings.
