Playa Guanabo
A much busier beach with more infrastructure. This is more of a town with a beach where supermarkets, numerous shops and restaurants can be found. It’s a good destination if you’re looking to have everything on hand while you go to the beach. It is 27 km from Havana.
Playa Santa María del Mar
This is a beach which attracts mainly foreign visitors. It’s a more developed beach, similar to beaches in more developed countries. A good alternative if you want to be in a place with all the amenities.
Playa de Trópico
This beach is notable for the quality of its crystal clear waters. It has numerous corals and, is a good destination for those looking to dive and enjoy the beauty of the Cuban seabed.
