Blue Safari
Description
A unique, highly sought‑after activity by island visitors. This excursion lets you sail on a dhow—a traditional wooden, shallow‑draft sailing vessel—across Menai Bay in the southwestern part of the island, a marine conservation area where you’ll enjoy spotting extensive coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangroves. You’ll be able to snorkel, explore the Hidden Lagoon within Kwale Island, swim among the mangroves, climb the trunk of a baobab tree, and bask on the sandbanks. At lunch, you’ll savor grilled seafood and other delicious dishes accompanied by soft drinks, local beer, and an exquisite coffee.
