The second most important island of the Dominican Republic is located on the south coast of La Romana, it has a territorial density of approximately 9.6 square kilometres, its waters belong to the Caribbean Sea, it is important to remember that the Dominican Republic is surrounded by two types of water, the Atlantic that covers the North and Northeast of the country, and the Caribbean Sea that covers the south and southeast coast of the island of Hispaniola.
