The Rosario Islands 5-Island Tour is a journey with five different stops across the islands. It includes activities like snorkeling and experiencing bioluminescent plankton—making it the best way to explore the Rosario Islands near Cartagena de Indias.
The tour starts at 8:00 AM from Los Pegasos Pier aboard a speedboat, crossing the Bay of Cartagena. The stops include:
First Stop: Isla Grande
Here you’ll visit the famous sunken plane and mansion of Pablo Escobar. Afterwards, you'll enjoy snorkeling in a natural coral pool.
Second Stop: Private Island in the Rosario Archipelago
A relaxing break to enjoy a traditional Caribbean lunch.
Third Stop: Isla Cholón
A hotspot for young travelers with music, boats, and overwater cabanas. Here, we offer you a shrimp cocktail.
Fourth Stop: Isla Agua Azul
A peaceful and pleasant location—perfect for relaxing and soaking in the island atmosphere.
Fifth Stop: Playa Blanca, Barú
We stay here until nightfall to witness the bioluminescent plankton—microscopic algae that absorb sunlight during the day and glow in the water at night. This stop includes a snack.
The return trip is at 8:00 PM by bus, as night navigation is not permitted for safety reasons.
