Flavours of Fuerteventura

Flavours of Fuerteventura

Description

Discover the island through its landscapes, its history, and above all its “flavours”. Travelling around the island on secondary roads, our air-conditioned 8-seater vehicles with drivers, interconnected by radio communication, allow us to move away from the island’s traditional routes and take narrow secondary roads that lead us to corners of the island that have remained unchanged over time, even unknown to many of the island’s inhabitants. The meeting point for the northern and southern caravans is at an Aloe Vera plantation, where we will learn about all the properties of Aloe Vera, considered “the Queen of Medicinal Plants”. Enjoy with us the beauty of the “La Entallada Lighthouse” and discover the life of the Canary Islanders in the interior of the island, where we will visit one of the island’s best cheese dairies and enjoy a tasting of the famous Majorero cheese. We will visit beautiful villages such as Betancuria and the small village of “Ajuy”, which feels like travelling back in time to the old fishing villages from our great-grandparents’ era. Finally, we will visit the Cheese Museum, located in the municipality of Antigua. After this last stop, we return across the island of Fuerteventura.
