Description
Hotel pick-up to begin a unique experience combining tradition, culture, and Cuba’s most iconic flavors.
The excursion starts with a visit to a Rum Factory in Cárdenas, where you will tour the distillery, aging warehouse, and bottling area. Includes a rum mini-bottle souvenir.
We continue with a panoramic tour of the city of Cárdenas, followed by historic Varadero, up to 64th Street, including a stop at the Boulevard and its specialty shops.
At the Rum House (63rd Street), enjoy a guided tour with staff explanations of the Cuban rum production and aging process using a distillery model. The experience includes Cuban cocktail-making classes with three typical cocktails, a one-hour Happy Hour with Cuban rum tasting, and a souvenir bottle of Havana Club 3-Year Rum.
At the Habanos House, specialized staff will explain the Cuban cigar-making process and its pairing with different Cuban rums. You will see a live cigar-rolling demonstration, interact with the torcedor, and learn about cutting and lighting a cigar, along with a rum–cigar pairing experience.
Free time for shopping handicrafts, cigars, rum, and coffee.
At the Coffee House, discover the Cuban coffee production process, enjoy a tasting, and receive a 125 g coffee souvenir.
Finally, panoramic visit to the elegant Xanadú Mansion.
