Jeep safari
Description
Once the group is gathered in Maspalomas, we will head towards the Lomos de Pedro Alfonso ravine, enjoying spectacular views of the Aguineguín ravine, until we reach the Chira Dam, built between 1941 and 1944, although the final project was completed in 1965, giving it its current appearance. It is undoubtedly one of the most impressive civil engineering works and one of the most beautiful in the islands, offering a unique landscape in this area of Gran Canaria. This place has a typical mid-altitude southern climate and is located within the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve, one of the most unique areas of the island. We continue towards the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, arriving at Tunte, its capital, where we will visit the old town and its church. We continue our route towards the “Valley of a Thousand Palm Trees”, passing through the beautiful village of Fataga. The final stop will be at the Mirador de Las Moscas viewpoint, where you can take photos of the valley and see the Maspalomas Dunes. From here, we return to the hotels, ending the excursion.
