Landscapes of the South and Sailing the East

Landscapes of the South and Sailing the East

In two days, you will discover the most emblematic places of the south of Mauritius and the East Coast, where you will enjoy the famous Île aux Cerfs.

Description

Discover the landscapes and colors of the southern part of the island. Begin your journey with a visit to Bois Chéri, one of the most important tea plantations in Mauritius.
Your next stop will be Grand Bassin, the sacred lake of the Hindus — a pilgrimage site where you will also see the largest statues on the island dedicated to their gods.
Your tour continues through the Black River Gorges, where you’ll stop at a viewpoint offering one of the most spectacular views of the island. After lunch, your next visit will be to the Chamarel area, where you’ll admire one of the island’s most impressive waterfalls, as well as the famous and unmissable Seven-Coloured Earth.

Sail through the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon aboard a catamaran along the island’s east coast, relax, and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and colors that surround you. During the journey, you’ll stop for a swim or snorkeling, and then visit a waterfall located at the mouth of the Grand River South East — possibly one of the island’s most iconic postcard views. Before your next stop, enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch on board the catamaran, followed by free time to relax and unwind on the beautiful beaches of Deer Island.
