Short North

The best option to see the north of Lanzarote. You must not miss these stunning places. Explore true gems around the old capital, the town of Teguise, during this northern Lanzarote tour. Visit Lagomar, the Valley of a Thousand Palms, and the Mirador del Río.

Description

Departure to the village of Teguise, the island’s former capital, where we will make a stop to admire its church, cobbled streets, and the feeling of stepping back into a traditional old town. Afterwards, passing through the village of Los Valles, we head to the town of Haría, where we will enjoy a wonderful view of a beautiful palm grove known as “The Valley of a Thousand Palms.”

Continuing through the villages of Máguez and Ye, we will arrive at the Mirador del Río, perched on the cliffs of Risco de Famara, where you can see the island of La Graciosa and the “river” that separates it from Lanzarote, as well as admire the rest of the Chinijo Archipelago from a spectacular vantage point.

From there, we will proceed along the edge of the Corona Volcano and the Malpaís de la Corona toward the Jameos del Agua. This cave of undeniable beauty features an indescribable and completely unique landscape, formed by volcanic eruptions.

We will return through the villages of Mala and Guatiza, admiring the prickly pear plantations that provide habitat for the cochineal insect, used as a natural dye, on the way back to the various pick-up points.
