Parque nacional del Teide Norte
Description
We will travel through the Canary pine forests until we reach Teide National Park, located at an altitude of around 2,000 meters above sea level. This natural area was declared a National Park in 1954 with the aim of protecting its extraordinary beauty and high ecological value.
Throughout the excursion, we will make several stops so that you can admire everything this natural environment has to offer. Las Cañadas del Teide form a 17-kilometer-wide caldera on which the volcanic peak stands.
We will then head to the base of the cable car, where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Ucanca Valley. Afterward, we will continue our journey and visit the Roques de García, where you will see one of Tenerife’s most iconic landmarks, along with other major attractions within the National Park.
Optionally, you may take the Teide Cable Car up to La Rambleta Station, located at 3,550 meters above sea level, leaving you just a short distance from the highest peak in Spain.
