Teide National Park South

Teide National Park South

Esta excursión te llevará a las alturas para conocer el pico más alto de España: El Teide.

Description

We will cross the Canarian pine forests until we reach Teide National Park, located at about 2,000 meters above sea level. This natural area was declared a National Park in 1954, with the aim of protecting this landscape of incredible beauty and high ecological value. Throughout the route, we will make several stops so you can admire everything this natural area has to offer. Las Cañadas del Teide form a 17 km caldera on which the volcano’s peak sits. We will then head to the base of the cable car, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Ucanca Valley. We will continue the journey and visit the Roques de García, where you will see one of the most iconic images of Tenerife, as well as other important attractions of the National Park. Optionally, you can take the Teide Cable Car up to the La Rambleta station, located at 3,550 m, where you will be just a few meters from the highest peak in Spain.
