Volcano Route (Long South) without meals

Volcano Route (Long South) without meals

The Natural Park of the Volcanoes surrounds Timanfaya National Park and offers a unique setting. The recent volcanic eruptions that occurred around 1730 and lasted for six years dramatically changed the island’s landscape, creating a world-renowned volcanic scenery. Coupled with the area's environmental protection status, this route offers a spectacular and unforgettable display of colors.

Description

Departure to the south of the island, passing through the village of Uga and entering the Fire Mountains, where we will make a photo stop at the Camel Ranch (camel rides optional, not included in the price).

From there, we will continue among volcanoes to visit Timanfaya National Park. There, we will see geothermal demonstrations at the Hilario Islet and take the “Route of the Volcanoes,” accompanied by stories of the eruptions that took place in Lanzarote in the past.

We will proceed to the southern part of the island to admire the “Lava Coast,” which includes a panoramic view of Las Salinas de Janubio and Los Hervideros, a natural attraction sculpted into the rocks by the sea and wind erosion.

Next, we will stop at the village of El Golfo. Lunch will be served in the village of Yaiza, awarded for its beauty and harmony with the surroundings.

After lunch, we will cross Lanzarote’s premier wine region, La Geria—an example of unique adaptation and land use (with a stop at a typical winery including a tasting).
